B-I see multiple issues which contradict each other. ine is wrong usage of AND after the semicolon with singular verb WAS.

D-seems awkward.Also, wrong idiom such...that.... The correct ones are so..that or such X as Y...
E-This says that the intial status of lobotomy was hailed as revolutionay technique but logically lobotomy is the technique not its status
