Veritas Prep Free Question bank & CATS

Hi Karishma,

I have a question with respect to the free question bank and the Veritas prep CATS.

The question is if the 2 sets of question bank picks the questions from the same pool? I am curious about this because of the following reason.

I have been taking the VERITAS prep CATS for sometime now.
Earlier, though I was not fully prepared and was committing more than 15-16 mistakes on the quant section in the CAT, my scores used to be around Q44/Q45.

In the last couple of CATS, I have been performing relatively better. I have made no more than 8-11 mistakes and was scoring even lesser now. Can you please help me understand the scoring with respect to the below 2 CATS. If you would need my email id, i would be more than happy to share them with you. If you can help me with some pointers, I would be really grateful.

Please find the pattern with respect to the mistakes in the last 2 CATS.

CAT 5 - August 16, 2015 - 570 (Q43, V26) ------> Got 8 incorrect overall (2, 9, 10, 17,18, 26,30,36)
CAT 6 - August 23, 2015 - 620 (Q44, V32) ------> Got 11 incorrect overall (4,5, 8,12,13, 15, 22,23,25, 27,33)

Also I have been practicing the Veritas prep Question bank. Will that hamper my chances of getting high difficulty questions on the actual Veritas prep CATS?
Do they share the same question bank pool or are the questions for the veritas prep CATS picked up from a separate pool?

This will help me understand if I should continue practicing from the question bank before I attempts the CATS.

Also In general, can you help me understand what is the difficulty level of your questions in the question bank? Is the verbal at the same level as the GMAT exam?

Somehow, I feel the questions are much more difficult than the GMAT Prep questions.
