I have been preparing for gmat for quite a while now. My verbal score has been hovering around V30 and this is pulling down my score badly. The worst hit is CR where my accuracy is low. Now i have gone through powerscore CR and both OGs but still on mocks the CAR score is low especially the 700+ ones are always wrong. Now after reading the above books my approach has been to read the question stem and identify the conclusion. Then i can almost every time identify the question type and understand what i am supposed to do. Then i read the options and pick the answer based on my understanding of the conclusion.However when I encounter hard CR questions(700 level or some of 600-700 ones)i dont know why I choose the wrong option. Is it because of fatigue during the test or is it due to following a wrong strategy. My og review accuracy in CR is 74%. Please tell me how to improve my accuracy as in mocks it sometimes goes to even 30-40%

Such an accuracy like you have got in CR means the problem in fundamentals so you should go back to the fundamentals before practising questions.

One of the mistake that I made in CR is reading the question. That may seem like an easy task, but that is a step that you can make careless mistake. You really need to read every single word in the question stem carefully. For example, you can not assume that the question is a strengthen question when you see "support". The question can be really tricky when it tells you to support a viewpoint that is attacking another viewpoint. So is that a strengthen or a weaken question? You see my point?
