Hi all,

I've been trying to follow the Magoosh 3 month advanced plan but have skipped some stuff here and there. My test is on 1 June and I'm aiming for 760+. My history of mock exams is:
- 27 Feb GMAT Prep 1 730 96% (Q49 V40 IR8)
- 15 April Veritas Prep 1 710 91% (Q50 V38 IR6)
- 20 April Veritas Prep 2 710 91% (Q50 V37 IR7)
- 1 May GMAT Prep Exam 2 (online version so there were some repeat questions) 750 98% (Q50 V40 IR8)
- 4 May GMAT Prep Exam 1 (online version so there were some repeat questions) 780 99% (Q50 V48 IR8)
- 11 May GMAT Prep Exam 3 760 99% (Q50 V42 IR8)

I'm naturally stronger in quant than verbal. Should I be focusing on getting a Q51 or should I focus on lifting my verbal?

I think its better to focus on verbal. Also reviewing the GMATPREP and OG questions in last two weeks is a must.

Hi wolfgangkhan,

You obviously are very strong in Quant, so focusing on it would not prove very helpful.

Given how close your GMAT date is, I personally do not think one should adopt any new method on the final leg of their GMAT Preparation. It may be nice to give a couple of mocks (the official ones) and work on your weaknesses, but trying something new might not work in anyone’s favour. However if you want to improve on any individual area such as Sentence Correction, you may subscribe to the course as you can finish the whole course in 10 days (with proper dedication). If however you are only looking to indentify and improve on your weak areas, I would encourage you to purchase the e-gmat scholaranium. It is without a doubt, one of the best practice tools for verbal and will indeed help you on the final leg of your preparations.

Hope this helps. All the best.
