Hello everyone,
I just had my first GMAT this afternoon and disappointingly, while I am aiming at something like 720/730 at the very least, my score came out to be 700(V38 Q47 IR8) only. I am satisfied with my Quant and IR scores which are generally in line with what I usually get for mock practices (although Quant score can ideally be better as I did hit Q49 occasionally for mock practices), but my Verbal score is unexpectedly bad as I can usually hit at the very least 40+ for mock practices.
Anyway, the damage has already been done and instead of feeling sad for the score I am already planning to retake GMAT in one-month time (would this be too rush?). During these coming 4 weeks I am planning to review my overall performance once again, tackle areas of weakness (particularly on Verbal) and focus on doing 700+ level questions. I am a not a native English speaker and has a full time job that is relatively demanding (leaving me only 1-2 hours to study everyday but weekends are usually free from work). I started studying really seriously in the past month (that's why my practice exams were taken in such a packed schedule as below) and prior to that I was studying on and off and had a long vacation in between.
To help me formulate my study plan, can my fellow GMAT takers help provide some guidance?
I need honest advice. Also, I have already done almost all practice exams available - what other materials should I be reviewing before the second GMAT attempt? Revising old mistakes for example?
