GMAT- Quant and verbal - Full time study possible- Kindly advise :)

Question

Hi,

I am in-between projects, self employed and wish to take the GMAT soon. At 34 years , I need to apply as soon as possible ,maybe for the Jan intakes or the 1 year MBA's in Europe.
 Kindly suggest a study time table and material for quant and verbal both. 
I am used to first learning and solving problems topic wise for Quant.Where can i find the questions arranged topic wise ?

I have already purchased the OG books.

Target would be Q50 and V42. An engineer and particularly strong in academics otherwise .

Magoosh, TTP, Scholaranium,?? any comments .

First, you would need more than just the official guides to prepare for the GMAT. I would highly recommend that you enroll in a structured online course rather free tutorial videos available online. For now, I would recommend that you start with the basics. Please review the GMAT Club study plan.

From your post, it's not clear whether you're just (re)beginning your studies or you've been studying for some time. If you're just beginning your studies, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can take 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) Have you decided which Schools you plan to apply to? Since you clearly want to apply relatively soon, the more specific you can be about your plans, the easier it should be to properly put together an effective application strategy.
2) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?
