were you able to get your F1 visa?

Well I am not sure whether mbanerd16 is still active here

Thanks for letting me know. Just fishing around for answers as I am in the same situation.

I see no reason to be concerned. It is a straightforward process though as always, requires diligence. The only part to be aware is that usually Visas are only issued in Embassies outside of the US, so you may not get your actual F1 Stamped in your passport until you leave the country. However, you do not need an F1 visa Stamp to stay in the US, only to enter the US.

Many people have done iti without issues including mbanerd16 who has attended Owen and posted his School Debrief here: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/comments/o ... -345354037

Thank you bb, it helps to know that people were successful in going from H1B to F1 status.
