I think you're on the right track and you seem to be in the right mindset of thinking.
Your list of schools seems fairly appropriate however H/W and the other M7 schools can get fairly competitive. For H/W in particular I don't think anyone can be considered a "shoe-in" for either of those schools. The only way I can see for you to become a more competitive applicant would be to have a higher GMAT score. I think Harvard and Wharton are getting close to a 730
average score in their class.
Besides that though, if you focus on your "why MBA" story and have good leadership/professional stories by the time you apply, you should be fairly competitive for the remaining schools on your list. After all of that, if you're still worried about the low GPA, getting great work experience can help compensate for that, however that will take more time...
