Hello everyone!
Recently I gave my GMAT and scored 720, I need help to decide which schools to apply based on my profile.Below is my profile brief.
Nationality :Indian
Age :32
Degree :bachelor of commerce with 3.33 CGPA and I have also done full time MBA from one Indian college (it's not among the top B Schools in India
but still it was a decent one and my major was marketing.
Work experience : 8.5 years of work as banker in Dubai in various departments like retail banking, corporate and investment banking on both sales and service side.
Currently I am working as a financial consultant in India (self employed from last 8 months as I was preparing for GMAT)
I am planning to do one year MBA from India or a good school in US, Europe or Asia. Two years of MBA would also do provided I get admission to a top B school
I want a change from banking industry to a hardcore marketing oriented job which involves brand development & promotion or get into supply chain management.
During my school and college I participated in various co-curricular activities like debates,dramatics,exhibition and have won several medals during school in different sports like cricket,football and athletics. I am also working as a volunteer and teaching underprivileged kids.
I would highly appreciate if someone could give me good guidance based on my career summary.

Hi,
You have an impressive profile and your GMAT score is also good.
Considering your work experience I would suggest you can try out the European B-Schools. However you also have options like ISB, INSEAD Singapore for which you have a good chance. You may also try out the chances at other B-Schools here : https://goo.gl/TqFWKY

Congratulations on a good GMAT score. You have got substantial experience within financial services. A career change will make sense if you can use your past experience/ skills acquired in your new role. For example, it may be worthwhile to work in the marketing function of a bank, which will combine your interest in marketing with your substantial experience in banking. From this perspective, it may be difficult to convince recruiters that you are seeking a complete change to brand management / supply chain management, or you may be required to start at lower positions. Think more about these factors while refining your career goals.
Consider applying to the IIMs executive courses in India.
