Hi Guys .. I am seeking suggestions and feedbacks from you all. I have an admit from a Mid ties US School Mays School Of Business (Texas A&M University ) and ESADE Barcelona Spain .
I am having a difficult time choosing between the two. While one is highly ranked among European Schools, toher is highly ranked in US in term of ROI. I am not very frenzy about working in US , but I want to ensure I land with a good job post MBA . Post MBA I am very much flexible about the location I choose to work in.
I am 25 years old and currently working with Infosys India as an Associate consultant. I worked with Whirlpool as Global project Engineer for 3 years before Infosys. I possess total 4 years of experience in technology consulting in manufacturing domain.
Post MBA I wish to work in strategy planning and leadership in consulting, consumer products or manufacturing industry.
Out of the options that I have , how would you rank the schools based on your knowledge / experience ? Is it better to go for a highly ranked European school or a mid tied US school which promises a decent work experience post MBA ?

I would say it is basically US vs Europe battle. Which job market is flourishing now, and which not? I assume that US job market is much better than that in Europe. So you must consider it if you want to land with a good job post MBA. If your goal is good post MBA experience choose US.
Also ask yourself
Where you see yourself long term?
Which of European countries would you like to work in after graduation, why you think you will be competitive there without knowledge of a European language?
based on the above I would choose Mays.

Given your goals, I think ESADE might be a better move. But it’s not black and white, and the other option also has its appeal.
If you haven’t yet, I suggest talking with current students at both programs, to get a subjective as well as objective sense of which school is a better fit – which students you find more stimulating, engaging, enthusiastic, etc. After all, your classmates will be a resource that endures far beyond the time in school.
