Hey there - the short answer is - yes, retake the test. Once you have that, then worry about schools, stories, etc. But with a 610, your school selection range is pretty limited. So if you're looking at targeting good schools, that score has got to come up. I know you probably don't want to hear that - no one WANTS to take the test again but it's a good idea, I promise.

Hi LeoStar,

You have a good profile. Your work experience and academics are good. Having an international exposure will certainly add more weightage to your profile. But, your GMAT Score is on lower side. I would definitely recommend you to retake your GMAT and target for 690+ GMAT Score. Having an improved GMAT Score will definitely improve your chances of getting admit a B-School and also opens more options for you.

You may also gauge your chances of getting admission to top business school by trying this amazing tool https://bit.ly/1C9o2Md

You can also get your free profile evaluation done by the top Ivy league B-School grads during the webinar conducted by General Education on 3rd May 2015. For registration and more details visit our website https://www.genedmba.com/webinars-seminars/

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
