I applied to this UNIVERSITY on Dec 15 which was the deadline itself.
I have been WAITING so long.
On April 28, I got an email from the head of the department.
He said we have reviewed your APPLICATION but we have a question. He was asking about my GPA. I had my master from UK and the grade system there is totally different from that of USA. So he asked me to explain the difference. I replied to his email the same day but I have not got any news from him so far.
Should I email him asking about my application status? or just contact the ADMISSION office ? or just wait ?
I was also worry that my email got into his junk mail
10 days later, I emailed him asking if he had received my email. He answered yes we received it and have acted on your case. I also called the graduate admission office, they said in two weeks you will hear from us.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ? do I have a chance ?

The good news: You'll know in two weeks I guess. It's a good sign that they reached out to clarify a point in your application (it means they are interested in you as an applicant).
I'm surprised that the adcom wasn't familiar with the UK grading system (if that is what the question was about).....What school/program are you applying to? Is it a 2-year MBA program???
