Hello Accepted experts,
This is the second attempt at MBA, Last year I did some good amount of research, hired a consultant and did put decent applications to schools. Though I applied with a 690 GMAT score, I felt good about my applications. But couldn't convert any of them. I applied to McCombs, Tepper and Oxford(interviewed and rejected).
My profile :
Educations: Bachelors-Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani( elite tech univ in India), CGPA - 6.5/10
Work ex: 5yrs
2 yrs as a Deputy Chief Engineer for a Material Handling company, dealing mainly with material handling in power projects. Had a project portfolio of about $15million before quitting the job and joining my father to startup a company.
3 yrs in a family startup
We are a renewable/recyclables start-up and dealing with recycling rubber scrap, For the past 3 yrs I have been majorly involved with operations and commercials of the company with frequently looking into marketing and sales.
Now I wish to branch out, pursue an MBA and post MBA work in a renewable tech startup in the US, in strategy and planning or product development.
I feel my choice of schools was poor, Can you please guide me in finding the right fit for my profile.
