Super helpful thank you! I would be applying for matriculation Sept 2016, so it would be a year in advance anyway? If you'd still recommend waiting a year, or applying in one of the later intakes, then that's helpful to know.

I definitely think 720+ GMAT could be on the cards, so might book in a retake. Is it generally easier for a younger person to get into American Colleges vs European ones? Will being a foreign student be an advantage or a disadvantage?

Some programs are easier to get into at a younger age in the US than Europe, though the age differences are not vastly different.

You would have an attractive profile for US programs with your experience and international background, specifically your work in the UK?

I do recommend waiting one more year. Doing so would mean you would enroll at 27 yrs old which is right on target. As I mentioned, you could apply now if the rest of your profile is quite impressive and essays perfect, but another year of experience would improve your profile, especially if you need a bit more time in case you don't get your higher GMAT score right away.
