Hi All,
Let me begin with some information about myself before putting forward my query.
I am working at a position of Associate Technical Analyst at oracle India since July 2014. I hold a degree of B.Tech in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha university.
I recently sat for GMAT and obtained the score as follows :
Verbal : 34 /71%
Quant : 50 /87%
Total : 700 /89%
AWA: 4.5/44%
IR : 5/53%
I have been planning to join some B-school for the batch of MBA 2016. But some consultants have advised me to wait an year before going for MBA. Is 1 year of wait really worth it? I really want to move abroad and I am really skeptic about waiting for yet another year for MBA as it might be too late to pursue dreams for an Indian girl like me.
Also, suggest what are my chances at DUKE,UCB,UCLA and LBS.
All the kinds of advice would be appreciated.

Hey there!
So the people who advise you to wait are right!
You lack enough work experience to be an interesting candidate for the MBAs at this time, and you are two weeks away from deadlines! Which is not likely enough time for you to put forward your best essays. My advice would be to aim for R1 next year, working on your profile this year, and improving your GMAT if you believe you can.

Thanks for sharing your profile. Nothing really jumps out as very unique in your profile which is probably the driver of the recommendation to wait a year. 2 years is a small amount of work experience for anyone but coming from the very competitive Indian applicant pool, you will need to improve your profile and story to stand out from the masses.
