Hello,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your help
Here is my profile :
- I'm a female 25-year-old candidate from Thailand.
- I graduated from a top university in Thailand with GPA of 3.51/4.00 in Accounting
- I'm working as an Auditor (senior associate) at PricewaterhouseCoopers Thailand. I'll have 4 years of working experience when the school starts.
- My GMAT score is 710 (91 percentile) with Quant 49 (77 percentile), Verbal 36 (81 percentile) and IR 8 (92 percentile)
- My extracurricular activities include teaching underprivileged children at slums and other places. I also conducted a award-winning short film competition to
help lessen corruption problem in my country.
- My post career goal is to be a finance manager in Energy Sector, which is the sector I audited during my years at PwC. I am particularly interested in Renewable energy and investment in energy sector in Southeast Asia.
I plan to apply to Wharton, Kellog (1-year program), Ross (University of Michigan), Columbia and London Business School.
What is my chance of getting into these schools?
Also, if you have any recommendations about things I should do to improve my profile, please tell me. I'll follow your advice.

@nattiya27 looks pretty good from here. GMAT is decent and so are your grades. The quant is where it needs to be for goal. Your age is great. I like the fact that we were able to connect the dots between your past and future, but at the same time, you have a goal that requires an MBA. And that's important. I definitely like the fact that you help underprivileged, and I would recommend that you really formalize or solidify that commitment. I wouldn't say for you to go off the deep end right before applying because that could signal red flags, however reinforce and deep in any over the previously initiated activities in that area. Kellogg definitely likes community service. By the way I'm a little curious as to why you wanted to the one-year program at Kellogg? I think it would be best for you to have an internship comma unless you feel that it would be possible to snag a full-time job without one. The work experience has a brand name attached, however sometimes Auditors get a little lost in the shuffle. Is there a way you can distinguish yourself, or demonstrate leadership in that role? If there's a work project or a way to separate yourself that I would do that. If there any International work project to come up I would go for that in a heartbeat. What kind of international experience and exposure do you have? It would be great if you could get something on that. I'm not really sure about what your letters of recommendation will be like, but I would think through what kind of story you need or would like to tell about yourself and find those who are likely to tell that story. So I would choose recommenders but based on how they see you and their experience with you.. feel free to get in touch if you would like to talk further about your profile and school selection. With your experiences, show strong and unique accomplishments that would distinguish your from peers with similar background, substantiating with figures or impact, and demonstrating ability to collaborate with people from different backgrounds would strengthen your chances.
Also, clearly showing how your past experiences and the MBA at target school would help you achieve your post-MBA goal would help.
