I am in a dilemma here so a little bit of advice would really go a long way
Profile:
Indian/Male/BS+MS from IIT Kharagpur (2015)
GPA 7.63/10
GMAT 750 Q50 V41
Extracurricular:
Head of my college Literary Society. Taught students for two months during summer break in Kashmir (think Palestine of South Asia) as part of an organisation I co-founded (we got featured by Dell Education Challenge 2013 among 'top 10 promising projects worldwide'). Won half a dozen B-Plan competitions in social entrepreneurship space nationally. Twice represented college in Hult Prize internationally (its considered one of the biggest social entrepreneurship competitions globally). Attended Harvard's HPAIR conference in Tokyo with full scholarship. Was also the editor of the newsletter of the college chapter of the national government sponsored community service program (phew!). While working in my first job, I also volunteered for an NGO for a year (we used to take left-over food from restaurants and give it to slum dwellers and orphanage kids). Was also class valedictorian in my high school but I guess that's pre-historic data.
Work Experience:
3 months+ : Currently working in a small development consulting firm, advising the Education department of an Indian state on systemic transformation in elementary education.
8 months: Worked as a political consultant and helped a national political party with election campaigns in 2 states (we won in one of them).
6 months: Tried starting-up. Failed.
8 months: Worked in a data analytics MNC for the credit card division of a top US bank.
I know I have worked in a lot of places for very short durations...Just felt like trying everything in one go
Goals: To work in a top management consulting firm, learn some tricks of the trade and then move back to development consulting space (Dalberg etc.) and do the world some good
My question:
I am planning to apply in R2 this year. Do I stand a chance (with scholarships) in Yale/Ross/Stern?

Thanks for sharing your profile. Your work experience will be a problem for your application...I'm assuming you are a young candidate given your limited work experience as well so delaying your application until you are able to be at one place for at least a year. So I do think admission into these programs and in particular with a scholarship would be a tough ask and probably unlikely with your current profile

Well dude,
You graduated from a great school and have an awesome GMAT, so that base is there.
Franky though, if I were the Adcom, I'd be a little bit afraid that you don't really know what you want to do, and I might think that if you applied now, you were just trying to fill the gap while you figure things out.
Your profile is pretty good, but your career experience is so choppy it might be a big disadvantage for you. In an ideal situation, if you are doing interesting things at work, it will likely be better if you can wait things out one year, to give your career some kind of clear direction. And of course by "Wait" I don't mean wait! I mean doing stuff to improve your profile!
So if there is no reason for your rush, waiting might improve your profile significantly.
