Hi,
This year, I am applying for an MBA at IESE. I am aiming for R1 and my application is 90% done. Although, most of the things in the application form are pretty obvious, there is one question that I don't know how to approach: "Briefly describe your career aspirations immediately after MBA. Please try to be as specific as possible by giving examples of position, Country and Company you would like to work in: (200 word limit)".
Do you think I should approach it as another essay question(IESE has only one mandatory essay + one optional) or should I just give a brief, specific answer? Although I have a very clear idea, of what I want to do after the MBA, I am not sure if in my answer I should also describe my motivation behind those goals or the inflection points in my career that led me to them.

Usc gave me 100 words for this, which was tough. With 200 it should be nice and easily to get really detailed and show that you've put in a lot of thought as to what you want to do.
In my essay I said exactly the role I wanted (marketing, operations, banking, etc ) , what function (purchasing, front end/back end, logistics etc ) and the companies (list a few personal targets) . I then included a sentence on why these target companies, and explained that it would be a stepping stone to gain experience and build towards my long term goal of "x"
