Education
Undergrad: Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from an State University, Score – 80.40% Rank (1/132)
School – 87% in both senior and high school

Work Experience – 5 years 5 months
Sr. Engineer - Samsung Heavy Industries, (EPC Oil and Gas)
International Experience - South Korea as Project Coordinator

Would like to apply to Canadian business schools (Rotman and Schulich) as well as to ISB in the Round 2/ January headline.
I can provide more details about my profile, can anyone please suggest which admission consultants i should consider for these schools.

A few initial thoughts on your profile lukachiri:
  1. The academic arc looks good given that rank. Not clear about the pedigree of the college though - that matters a lot. While the current GMAT score is ok, it may not be in line with the stellar (?) academic background. Given the heightened interest in Rotman especially lately, might be worth pondering over this point.
  2. The O&G experience is usually good and eventful; the international experience will be especially handy. It does makes things a bit trickier though since transition out of O&G is not very linear. So make sure you think about your post-MBA plans well and clearly.
  3. You've not provided any details on the ECs. Read here on why they matter.
  4. A few stories to take inspiration from given your target schools here and O&G profile here.
