Hi Linda & Cindy,

Thank you so much for taking out the time to evaluate my profile. My credentials are:

Gender : Male
Nationality : Indian
Age : 21 years

Academics :
Xth - 9.4 CGPA
XIIth - 72%
Graduation : Mechanical engineer from SRCOEM (University not in the top 100)
CGPA - 6.75/10


Entrepreneurship experience: Founded a home automation company while full-time student ( 2nd year )

Total 6 months

* Employed 5 daily wages workers
* Outsourced most of the work
* Improved manufacturing, reduced defects, improved manufacturing time/ product.
* 90k Inr in 3 months

Extra Curriculars :

* Secretary global shapers(NGP hub ) - 12 projects, 30 members, more than 15k people influenced in 6 months.
* Pratishruti - systems committee team member ( Central India's largest cultural festival)

Presentation and publications:- 1 paper published on low energy manufacturing and looking forward to publishing another with a student from LSE

International Exposure:

Worked with students from LSE and the University of Michigan on their projects. Many German friends in town.

Activities & Interest:

* Networking:- I like to network with people from different countries.
* Sports such as swimming and running.

Post-MBA goal - Starting my own business again but might have to work some time to repay my education loan.

My target schools are - HEC, LBS.

I would love to know your view on my profile, preferably the weaker points and things that can be done to mitigate the weakness in my profile.
I know that my Undergrad score is low and nothing can compensate it but what else should I show in my profile to make my profile better?

Hello vyascd,

Looks like you have done a lot of things.

1. Make sure your GMAT score is 700+. Is a good way to showcase your academic potential at his point. Given your undergrad GPA s average.
2. Paper presentation is good - that too at LSE is a great advantage. However, it's not inline to MIM, the idea of showcasing this is only to show your academic inclination.
3. I am not very clear about your extracurriculars - Numbers look good but what is more important is the cause and how did you make a difference in their lives.
4. Interests and Activities - are very vague - unless there is a tangible output these are just points with no value.

Post MBA/MIM - make sure you have a very crisp goal. The moment you say entrepreneurship -make sure you have a plan. If you do not, it's best not to mention.

Talk about the industry / function / role you would want to work in post MBA/MIM.
