I applied for INDSAD intake Jan2021 in round 3 and my application was rejected. I am an Indian Non IT Engineer with 2+ years is exp. of working with L&T limited in India and 4 years of experience of working for a Startup in Dubai serving the Energy Industry. I am about to appear for GMAT and I am quite positive of scoring 720.
I am wordering if it makes sense to try and apply for intake R1 of Sept 2021 since Indian engg is a popular background applying to INSEAD.
I have attached my CV, incase anyone can make some valuable suggestions.

Although a lot of Indian engineers apply to INSEAD I think being a non IT engineer definitely gives you an edge.
Regarding your application being rejected in the last season I think there's a good chance that the adcom had already selected a candidate with a profile similar to yours because it was a bit late as you applied in round 3. So if you apply in round 1 this year there's a good chance that you may make the cut as there won't be any selected candidates to compare your profile to.
Also remember You miss 100% of the shots you don't take so go ahead and apply this year.

Thanks Ashh, I wrote to Adcom requesting their opinion whether I should try another for Round 1. I will post the reply they give me so for reference of others.
