I would really appreciate if someone can evaluate my profile. I am planning to apply to NYU Stern, UNC, Texas Mccombs, USC Marshall and Yale in R2 with my GMAT Score of 720 . Applied to ISB and Rotman in R1.
Indian Male
GMAT Current Score- 720 (Q50, V38)
Undergrad GPA - 9.18/10 (Silver Medalist) from BITS Pilani (Top 5 college for engineering in India).
Work Experience:
~6 years experience in Top Oil & Gas Engineering Consulting Firm. Worked in capacities of process engineer, equipment coordinator, Training specialist, quality coordinator and project lead. Delivered refinery designs to clients situated across the globe and have represented company in various customer interface meetings (covering US, UK, Europe and Asia). Key contribution to the company - Lead a team to achieve 80% reduction (Expected $100 mn savings) in cycle-time for designing grass-root refineries by automating equipment design processes. Top-most employee rating for past 5 years and received 1 promotion. 1 promotion got delayed due to COVID. Received 5 awards (2 individual contributor, 3 team awards) during past 6 years. Chosen among 150+ to stimulate technology development for Alternative energy - coordinated with various functions (Sales, R&D, Engineering) to deliver 3 refineries and 4 technical proposals across 4 countries. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Quality Champion - Liased with experts to drive quality and maintain ISO certification of the company.
ExtraCurricular Activities & Achievements:
1. Co-founded the company Cricket Club. Actively played 150+ matches in past 5 years with a win-rate of 75%.
2. Home-tutoring 16 under-privileged kids in Math and Science. Sponsoring a boy's education ever since i started earning. He has joined university this year to pursue his BCom and is parallely working part-time.
3. Active participant in city toastmaster club.
4. Pursuing online courses on Mental Heath, Green Fuels and Machine Learning.
Short-term Goal - Transfer and enhance my engineering consulting skills using MBA to work as a strategy consultant for Energy and sustainability clientele.
Long Term Goal - Join a boutique VC firm to invest and partner in the commercialization of clean energy ventures.
