ManojitK
I am a Sales & Marketing professional from India with 11+ years work experience. I have a prior MBA degree from not so reputed B-School & had graduated in Mechanical Engineering with average academic credentials. Now I plan to pursue MBA again to boost my career which seems to bit stagnant now. With a lot of hard work & due diligence put over in last 1 year, I have finally managed to score 760 on GMAT. I plan to opt for only 1 year full time course where I can choose Strategy as a specialisation, planning to change functionality & industry simultaneously. Hence Placement options & ROI both become key imperative factors for decision. My profile fit with the B-School culture also needs to be looked upon. I am open for B-Schools in any location, India or abroad. Request the community to kindly guide with options of B-school list.
Hi
ManojitK Thanks for posting.
- 11+ years of experience is a lot, and many full-time MBA programs may instead point you towards their EMBA counterparts.
- Please post more details on your profile (current designation, responsibilities, achievements, employer details etc). The feasibility of a change in functionality and industry will need to be assessed. Please also provide details on international experience, if any.
- Broadly, you could look at the IIM experienced MBA programs (MBAEx, EPGP, PGPX at IIMC/B/A resply), ISB (lower chance owing to experience, but still some chance), and global programs such as the Sloan Fellows Programs at MIT Sloan, LBS, and Stanford, and the iBEAR MBA at USC.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to come back with more questions as needed or to contact us directly at our email in our signature below for a 1-1 discussion.
