Indian B-schools Profile Evaluation for Executive MBA

Hi,

Can anyone please evaluate my profile for Indian B-schools 1 year full-time executive program in India, I can target with my profile and suggest me colleges to shortlist

Male - 26 years old.

Academic Details-
10th - 6.8 CGPA
12th - With optional 69.33%, Without optional 77% -  Spike in the score (Business Studies -95) 
BBA/BBM/BBM- 73 % from Jain University Average B-school feeder (60,62,77 ,79,75, 85) -Top 20 percentile among 800 students
EPGDBM (Executive management for Working professional Weekend MBA) - Organization sponsored 7.09 CGPA from Symbiosis International University

GMAT Score - Yet to give ( Need suggestions on the target for an Interview )

Work Experience-
5 years of experience in the field of CRM Solution consulting as a Senior Consultant , Working with a Big 4 Consulting company with a good experience across multiple verticals , Few successful solutions are across Top-20 Universities in the world. Experience of mentoring freshers from Leading B-schools in India.

Post MBA Goals : Transition myself to Digital transformation consulting not limited to CRM technologies but overall Front-office process transformation

- Toastmasters member
- CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing Level 2 Completed)
- Started an Anti-ragging committee during my college days - Covered by a Leading news paper
- Good performer awards and testimonials from clients, Business heads for exceptional work and getting new business
- College Rock band member - Lead Synthesizer , Performed at various college fests and won few awards at school level as well as Inter-College level
- Helped transformed a legacy business operating in a rural area to digital during covid, Case study as an ad covered by google
- Volunteer and participation certificates at various national level conference and community services
- Started a home kitchen during covid to support a former house help who became a chef

GmatWarrior700 , a few thoughts on your profile:

The academic arc looks quite modest overall. Not sure when you say 'feeder' if you mean to your target schools? There is no   magic GMAT   number. The average at top Indian options (ISB/IIMs) is 700+. It helps to score as much above that as you can. 
  Your professional profile sounds encouraging especially the part about mentoring MBA grads. Are your peers from top MBA schools too? The overall pitch makes sense but may need some tweaks to make it a bit more broad based.  
  The ECs look quite good. However, focus on articulating the impact you may have had, and not just say being a member.  
  These are not EMBAs that you are targeting, a   common confusion  .

Please evaluate my profile for IIMs/ISB 1 year full time executive MBA.

INDIAN, TECHNOLOGY, MALE, GENERAL

DOB : 23/08/1992

10 aggregate(all subjects) ICSE - 87.57%
12 aggregate(all subjects) ISC - 85.66%
BTECH (Information Technology) - DGPA - 7.47/10 (Percentage conversion - 67.2%)

Total experience in IT sector on today's date : 8.5 years
Companies : TCS, Deloitte, Oracle

GMAT : Yet to give

Extra curriculars : Awards in TCS, Deloitte. Equity grant award in Oracle. Certified Horse Rider from Calcutta Polo Club. 
Hobbies : Swimming, Reading books, cricket, badminton - No certificates in these fields to show

Please help me to understand if I have any chance to convert into any of the IIM A/B/C or ISB ? Even if its possible because of the affirmative policies, is there any fair chance to get placed (asking because of low graduation score) ?

Now that there is only GMAT Focus version and the predicted scores suggest that GMAT Focus score of 680 is equivalent to GMAT Classic score of 750, what should be my target GMAT focus score?

Basis your profile, you stand a chance to get into your target schools. They are looking for an overall profile including your academics & standardized test scores, ECs, work experience, community engagements, and much more.

With 8.5 years of work experience, your ECs, and hobbies, you can position yourself as a strong candidate in your ISB applications. When it comes to GMAT Focus scores, there's no fixed cut-off. However, Adcoms are still defining the benchmarks for the score scale. So 645-655 on GMAT focus equates to 700 in GMAT, which typically is the average class profile for ISB.

A few thoughts on your profile evaluation and plans  Tanmoy92 :
 
  The academic arc is a bit unclear - has your college been a feeder? The GPA appears modest and a high score will help. No magic number, but always try to score above your target school's average.  
  While the professional profile sounds alright, details matter. What's the nature of your work? How has the trajectory been? What kind of impact have you had - so on and so forth. Start thinking along those lines and also consolidate your recommenders. Think about how you'll showcase transferrable skills for your post-MBA career aspirations. 
  Not clear what the affirmative policy bit refers to from the context - are you part of a minority? That aspect is usually more prevalent in international schools. The extracurriculars are unclear - the awards and equity grant specially are unlikely for extracurricular activities. Schools are usually ok without certificates but expect something substantial - so think on how you will showcase those.

Work Experience-
7 years of experience in the field of Manufacturing as a senior Engineer ,Working with a Largest Construction company ( L&T) with a good experience across multiple profiles of business. Experience of mentoring freshers from NITs and IITs during the induction programme.

4 years of startup business which i did single handedly. Made lot of profits and lot of new learnings and experiences.
 
Post MBA Goals :

Need to get expertise in business and improve my start up into a chain of businesses.

Apple_Sweet , some thoughts on your profile evaluation and plans. The academic arc is alright an Anna has a decent pedigree. Have peers/seniors from your particular college been admitted to your target schools in the recent past? What's your expected/targeted GMAT score? The professional profile is quite interesting albeit eclectic. I am guessing the startup is current and LnT was in the past? How was your trajectory at LnT - faster than the norm/at par? Do you plan to shut down/sell/continue the venture? While schools love startup stories they are also equally skeptical due to the lack of scale/brand/credibility - areas to explicitly address through your application. What's the nature of the venture? How many employees etc etc - all matter. The Toastmasters and LnT CRM helps. Anything current or all in the past? This is why ECs matter . A lot more for ISB than the others in your target list. The other aspect to bear in mind is that MBA after 30 is tricky and you'll face some of these challenges . Given your goals, this may be alright. But the goal itself needs to be thought through and analyzed, basis the current scope of the venture and its potential. Hope this sparks the right questions.
