Hi
gauravjec,
Thank you for sharing your profile. From the details you have provided, I can see you have a solid GMAT score. On the work front, you have good 11 years of experience which can bring stories of leadership and impact. I myself have worked on many startups (some failed, some succeeded) before getting into INSEAD, and one of my essays highlighted my startup journey.
Similarly, I have helped many of my clients get into Stanford, Darden, Columbia, and more other top b-schools in the US and Europe who themselves are entrepreneurs and have highlighted their startup stories in essays impactfully.
Therefore, if you run a startup, especially in the social impact sector, which is successful too, your chances are rather enhanced. It exhibits your business acumen and the ability to take bold initiatives and make them successful. Even if you had a failed startup, it could work in your favor if the story is communicated cogently. What's going to matter most about your application is how you link experiential dots and make a great narrative.
What are your post-MBA goals?
If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to b-schools. Feel free to
book a free session with us as per your convenience.
How to enhance your application and maximize your chances for fall intakeCheers!
