Hi,
Planning to apply in this intake for International MBA Programs.
Open to both US and Europe. Could you kindly suggest what would be the right programs for me to target.
Work Experience at time of joining: 4 years
GMAT Score: 710 [Quant:49 , Verbal:38, I.R.:7]
Educational Qualifications:
Graduation: B.Tech in Information Technology with a CGPA of 9.1 (2018)
Class XII: Scored 96%
Class X: Scored 97.4%
Work Experience (~4 years):
Working in the Top investment Bank as a Software Developer for 3 years. Previously Part of another Fortune 500 company as a Software Engineer.
Post MBA Goal: Product Management in FinTech industry.
Extra Curriculars:
UnderGrad -
-Overall Best Student in Batch Award during Undergrad.
-Merit based scholarship awardee in few semesters.
-Two international conference publications.
-Member of several clubs and societies(including Literary and Technical Society)
-Teaching Assistant for a subject in my Final Semester
School -
-Received scholarship offer from Govt of India for being in Top 1% scorers in Class 12.
-Participated and won in several debates, declamation competitions, science and tech competitions.

Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Starting with the stats, your undergrad GPA is good, and you have a decent GMAT score. If you can, try to improve your GMAT score by 20 points, this will increase your chances. On the work front, your work experience should demonstrate that you are a strong leader. It's difficult to evaluate because I don't have many details about your work experience, but try highlighting the roles you've undertaken, major responsibilities you've taken on in four years, and the impact they made. Your ECs are good. Try to incorporate elements from your ECs that will help your profile stand out. Talking about international publications and clubs should add some flavour to your profile. Is there anything you do regularly outside of work (a hobby, a service, or just anything)? Talking about your interests (the ones that genuinely energise you and to which you devote a significant amount of time) will be beneficial.
Your post-MBA goals require more clarity. You want to work in FinTech as a product manager, but what comes next? Do a thorough study on your chosen schools and understand how the MBA community can assist you in achieving your short-term goals after MBA and shaping your personality for long-term goals after MBA. You may want to read an article on how to frame practical post-MBA goals essays, you will get some insights. Overall, you have a good profile and a chance at Tepper and Cornell. For Ross, you will need to put extra effort to make your application stand out. Ross wants its students to be aware of what they are and what they can bring to the table. So, you will need to craft essays in alignment with values b-schools look for.
