below is my scorecard:
10th: 8.2 CGPA
12th: 81%
BE: 64%
work experience: 4 years in Amazon, current title: Account Manager
My aggregate marks in my Bachelor of Engineering is only 64%, which is considered as First Class in India. With this score, can I still get into a good MBA college in Canada? If so, please let me know which college I can get into. If not, can I make up for it by scoring really well in my GMAT? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Would there be any way to indicate he will graduated in the top 25% or that kind of thing? I’m not super clear on what first class means for Indian grades. I do know that it’s likely they will not factor your GPA into the ranking so that is helping a little.
And no matter what your grades are you will want to do really well on the GMAT, I would say 20 points higher than the class average at least. The higher the better for your particular profile group.
I’m not sure if you’re looking for a one year program or two year program, but it’s probably too late to apply to Rotman and UBC right now because you would be so late at the cycle and because you are over represented you want to apply as early as possible. I would recommend that you submit for Ivey, one year program. They start in March of next year and they are just in the beginning of the admission cycle right now so if you can get your GMAT sorted, that would be a wise way to go.
I will say that that does not include the three-year visa situation, at least not when I last checked. You have to be in a two-year program for that, and I’m just not optimistic about your odds for the last round this year. Or almost any Indian male.

Hope this finds you well.
You can still get into a good business school with a low undergrad score unless, of course, a school mentions the minimum score strictly on its website. For schools that do not have a very strict requirement, you may try and offset your low score with a high GMAT score to help the school believe that you will be able to adjust to the demands of a rigorous MBA program. Further, you may also want to address the reason for the low score in the Optional Essay (in case there is one). You may be candid about the reason rather than sound like you are making an excuse.
To be doubly sure, please email your target schools to understand if they have strict requirements regarding undergrad score.
