I have one more question. Assuming I do apply this year, but dont make it into any of the above 5 schools, does that hurt my chances on reapplication next year?


No, generally speaking, the admission rates for reapplicants are a bit higher than the schools' overall admission rate. It varies by school. Business Week Online provides the reapp rates for most schools.

Can't you appear for your GMAT again in late December? As long as you can send the new result with your application packet, you should be fine even if the official report from ETS reaches to the schools after the deadline is past.
