- You've not mentioned the name/pedigree of your undergrad college to tough to judge that but the GPA won't be your friend. That, together with the GMAT can prove to be hurdle at top schools - one can usually add 20-30 points to a given school's average to get a sense of the Indian GMAT average. Any plans for a retake?
- The professional profile is very unique and its rare to see the kind of transition you've made. Make sure to bring out the motivation for that well. The professional growth in the Army sounds good - do bring out the relative perspective there. What are your post-MBA plans?
- For reasons mentioned here, we don't speculate on school selection or chances. That being said, MBA after 30 is tricky in general but that is usually not a big issue for Army candidates. For European programs however, international experience is quite important - anything there?
- Top schools look for strong evidence of extracurriculars. There are several opportunities for this in the Army usually; anything here for you? The ones you've mentioned are very dated and unlikely to be of much relevance.

You should explain this as well as your motivation for doing so. You'll need to talk about the roles and responsibilities you've taken on and the influence they've had. I'm sure you have enough stories to share from your work experience to make your essays stand out! I see a visionary leader in you who understands how to overcome barriers and grow oneself and your organization! About your ECs, is there something you do now? Regarding your GMAT, 710 looks decent. If you can retake, boosting your score by 10-20 points will improve your chances. What are your post-MBA goals? I'd like to learn more about them to recommend schools to you. You can read the story of a military candidate who got into ISB and Schulich after 15 years of military experience. It may help you better relate, and you will get some valuable observations. Recently we have helped one of our applicants- a military veteran to get into Ross, Mc Combs, Emory, and Kelly with a scholarship and GMAT waiver.
