Hi
CalvinP hope this finds you in good health
You have solid work experience backing you.
May I suggest that you try to actively engage with the schools' admissions offices for the ones on your list and get some candid feedback on your profile? Also voice other concerns you may have (age, defense background, job prospects, etc.). I cannot emphasize enough how much reading into the responses from the schools can help you to prepare a targeted list and set the right expectations. In my experience, some schools have gone as far as hinting at what goals would not work for an applicant. Recently in another incident, certain M7 schools forthrightly asked an applicant with no undergraduate degree but exceptional work experience to not apply. On the other hand, some other top-ranking MBA programs told that in the past they had admitted non-UG holders with exceptional profiles and encouraged this applicant to apply.
If you are giving MBA serious consideration, doing some research and foundational work now would be useful.
Please feel free to reach out should you need professional guidance.
Best wishes
