Hi,
I have recently completed MBA from MDI Gurgaon, India with specialization in Strategy, Marketing & Information Management. I am joining a consulting firm this summer as a Consultant.
Before pursuing MBA, i have worked as a Senior Software Developer with a reputed MNC for 3.8 yrs looking at both the development as management side for the team.
I have already given GMAT (710) in 2019 Sept which is valid till 2023 Sept.
My eventual goal is to move abroad for job. I feel directly moving to managerial roles abroad with MBA from India is tough and i feel a course abroad (MBA, deferred MBA) would be really helpful in not only increasing my knowledge base but also support in fetching jobs abroad.
I don't want to join immediately since i want to gain experience in the field of consulting which my upcoming job will provide me and i am looking for some deferred MBA options.
It would be great if you guys can suggest what my approach should be, am i eligible for such deferred mba programs, what do you think ?

harshb1995, deferred MBAs are usually for those still in college so won't be applicable for you.
Second MBAs are not uncommon and we've written extensively about those.
Make sure to weigh in the pros and cons well. And if you decide to pursue your second MBA, do ensure to build the profile correctly. One story of a candidate who got into Kellogg 1Y MBA after his first MBA from IIMs who we worked a while back.
Hope this helps you get a good perspective on the situation.

You are not eligible for deferred MBA admissions. Such programs are for people still in the final year of their undergrad.
There are 3 options for you
1. Use the current GMAT and apply in R1 2023 for 2024 intake
2. Check out schools that have a winter intake and apply to them - https://admitexpert.com/blog/mba-programs-january-intake/
3. Wait it out, gain experience in consulting and then decide whether you want to pursue a second MBA abroad based on your situation at that time. In this option, you will have to retake the GMAT, in which case, please note that the GMAT format is expected to change soon with the test becoming shorter and easier.
