Hello folks,
I'm still a bit confused about which programs to apply to for the September 2025 Intake.
A bit about my background.
I come from a traditional business family in India and we have our own business setup (Retail + General Trade Distribution and now starting out D2C via e-commerce) in the consumer appliances category (kitchen). I'll have about 3.5 years of full-time work experience at the time of matriculation (2025 intake), about 2 years of which have been spent in a strategy and business operations (not manufacturing ops) role at a startup with diverse work and project experience during the time there and the remaining would be back in our aforementioned family business, primarily working on expanding our D2C presence and streamlining our marketing (brand and performance) across general trade and modern trade.
I was hoping to get some thoughts and opinions on MBA programs with a focus on strategy, marketing, and business operations, and I mean this in terms of faculty, batch profiles, curriculum, and industry involvement during the program. I assume that recruiters from specific industries are also an indicator of a school or program's focus but I will not likely take a job post-MBA.
I'm hoping to apply to about 4-5 programs idealistically and not a lot, considering this, what programs would you recommend?
Feel free to ask for any additional information if required!
Thanks!
