I have spent three years working in finance (four years by the time I would matriculate) and am on track for promotion to a senior-level role. This is my second company, and I was promoted at my first firm as well. In my current role, I’ve had significant impact, including spearheading the company’s expansion into a new geographic region, helping resolve a major liquidity issue, and ultimately earning full oversight of an entire department. I work closely with both my direct supervisor and the CFO, who can strongly speak to my leadership, ownership, and impact in their recommendation letters.
I am 24 years old and plan to pursue investment banking post-MBA. I would ideally like to remain on the East Coast of the U.S. and attend the strongest academic program possible. Outside of work, I am involved in philanthropy as an ambassador for my local Red Cross chapter and have also started a small business. During college, I served as Vice President and Treasurer of a registered student organization with over 100 members.
Academically, I graduated with a 3.83/4.00 GPA and scored a 715 on the GMAT Focus (86V / 86Q / 84DI). Given my background and goals, I’m hoping to get feedback on whether my professional experience and overall profile would give me a good chance at these schools.
