You won't find real GMAT questions where you can rule out answer choices because they include words ('borned' and 'hisself') which don't even exist.

The underlined part is a modifier which modifies Abraham Lincoln.
So only option E is correct .
Option B comes close but wrongly use incorrect "borned"
