Sentence has subject verb agreement error.
"(Steve, along with his oldest brothers)" is Singular subject and should have singular verb " is".
Hence Eliminate A,C,D.
(E) Steve and his oldest brothers is
and - makes subject plural and hence should have plural verb - are.
Hence E is Eliminated.
(B) Steve, along with his oldest brothers, is ------- Correct.
Has Singular subject "(Steve, along with his oldest brothers)" with singular verb "is".
Answer (B)...

A- Subject Verb don't agree in number. Ignore the modifier and it says 'Steve are' which doesn't make sense.
B- Correct.
C- Same mistake as A.
D- Same mistake as A.
E- Opposite of A, here it should be "Steve and his brothers are".
