• To maintain parallel structure, whatever construction comes after not only needs to be repeated after but also.
If a common word comes before the parallelism marker Not Only, that common word applies to both and should not be repeated.
Correct: That Not Only X But also Y [once outside]
Correct: Not only that X But also that Y [twice inside]
Wrong: That Not only X But Also That Y

THE OPTIONS
→ The sentence already uses a past tense verb did after not only, so the correct word should be carry.

warrior1991 , you are indeed correct: If a common word such as THAT comes before the construction (Not only X but also Y), then "that" should not be repeated.
On the other hand, if that comes after Not Only X, then the word "that" must also come after But Also Y.
