First time ever, i was happy to mark a correct answer
I was about to mark B, but then i stopped for below 2 reasons:
1) consumption != Import
2) Its a 700 level question
Then i came across E and just because its a 700 level q, i gave 30 secs to E and marked it. Explanation-
Population decreased by 6%. Dairy import decreased by 5%. Though both decreased, population decreased more. Hence per capita import (import wrt population) of DP increased.
Mathematically:
Earlier, DairyProductImport/Population = 100/100 = 1
Now, DairyProductImport/Population = 95/94 > 1
This is given in E.
Sometimes the difficulty level also helps you reach the correct answer

(B) Over the last five years, per capita consumption of meat products in Slorenia has increased - Consumption is not same as Import. Imported product may be consumed somewhere else other than by people. Wrong.
(C) Per capita import of meat products to Slorenia is greater than per capita import of dairy products. - As we are not known about the ratios M/P and D/P therefore we can not calculate the exact numbers. Wrong.
(D) At present, imported meat products generally constitute a greater portion of Slorenians’ diet than imported dairy products - Same as B. Wrong.
(E) Over the last five years, per capita import of dairy products to Slorenia increased - Go with one of the Conclusions. Correct.

5 years before: 100P 100D 100M
therefore, per capita dairy import = 1 D/P and per capita meat import=1 M/P.
Now: 94P 95D 110M
therefore, per capita dairy import = 95D/94P = 1.01 D/P
and per capita meat import = 110M/94P = 1.17 M/P
Possible Conclusions: 1. Both increased 2. Dairy import increased by 1% and meat import increased by 17% 3. Meat import increased at higher rate that Dairy import.
