Even if we calculate the difference between the number of passenger deaths and crew deaths as a percentage of the total death count the parameter is still flawed. Danger should be measured by death rate (deaths/total in group), not by raw deaths. What needed here is compare the proportion of passengers who died vs. proportion of crew who died. (B) fits this criteria and that's why is correct
