Louis invites 45 friends to his birthday party. 2/3 of his friends attend, but 1/3 of them leave the party early. If everyone else stays until the end, how many of Louis"s friends are still at the party when it ends?

If x=45,
we have been asked to find
\(\frac{2x}{3} - \frac{1}{3}(\frac{2x}{3}) => \frac{2x}{3} - \frac{2x}{9} = \frac{4x}{9} = \frac{4*45}{9} = 20\)

Therefore, 20 of Louis's friends still till the end of his birthday party (Option C)
