For units digit, product of just units digit is required so 6*8...so y=8
But since we are looking for both tens and units digit, take last two digits = 78*66= AB48
So x+y=4+8=12

Given
    • x and y are the tens digit and the units digit, respectively, of the product 725,278*67,066.

To find
    • The value of x + y.

Approach and Working out
    • We need x and y i.e. last two digits of the product.
      o Last two digits we can get if we only multiply the last 2 digits of individual number.
      o So, last two digits of 725,278*67,066 = last two digits of 78 * 66
      o = (____)48
    • So, x + y = 12

Thus, option A is the correct answer.
