B, Since both the buses are moving towards each other we can assume relative motion
Assume one bus is at rest and the other one will then be traveling at 55-(-48) = 103 miles per hour
now the bus traveling at 103 mph will cover 515 miles in 5 hours starting from 9:30 AM,
which is 14:30 hrs/ 2:30 pm

I think you must've wrote a typo. B corresponds to the answer "2:00 PM". C corresponds to "2:30 PM"
- Same direction = 48+55 = 103 miles / hour
- Miles = 515 miles
- Time Bus meet = (515/103) = 5 Hours
- 9:30 am + 5 Hour = 14:30 = 2:30 pm
- Option C
