How many 360-degree rotations did a bicycle wheel make while rolling 200 meters in a straight line without slipping?

(1) The wheel made 24 360-degree rotations per minute.
(2) The wheel rolled the 200-meter distance in 18 minutes.

(1) The wheel made 24 360-degree rotations per minute.
It says that in one minute 24 rotations were made. But it doesn't tell us how many minutes were taken to complete 200 meters.

Not sufficient.

(2) The wheel rolled the 200-meter distance in 18 minutes.
It tells us that 200 meters were covered in18 minutes. But we are looking for number of 360 degree rotations.

Not sufficient.

Combining both statements:-
200 meter distance was covered in 18 mins. And every minute 24 rotations were made.

We can now calculate how many rotations were made in 18 mins.

C is the answer

From Question we need to find D.
Statement 1. Gives us Rate but not times. Insufficient.
Statement 2. Gives us Time but not rate. Insufficient.
Statement 1. & 2. combined give us rate and times
If wheel rotates 24 rev/min. then in 18min. => No.. of revolution would be = 24*18=204 revolutions.

Ans C)
