In the original condition, we have to find out all elements of the set S. Since there are many variables, there is a high chance that E is the correct answer. Using 1) & 2), we get S={16}. The answer is yes. When S={4}, the answer is no and the condition is not sufficient. Hence, the correct answer is E.

- Forget conventional ways of solving math questions. In DS, Variable approach is the easiest and quickest way to find the answer without actually solving the problem. Remember equal number of variables and independent equations ensures a solution.

Is 16 contained in the set S?
1) All the elements in the set S are the multiples of 4
2) All the elements in the set S are the square of integers

*An answer will be posted in 2 days.

Statement I: It is possible to have multiple of 4s without 16. For instance, 0,4,24,etc. Is is equally as possible to have 16 contained in the set, too. INSUF
Statement II: Square of integers could have 16 or it could have 25,36,49,etc. INSUF
Statement I & II: Square of integers include 4,9,16,25,36... or 4,9,25,36. INSUF
