The answer should be B

(1) The last day of the month is Wednesday.
Since we don't know the year and month, we can't judge whether the month had 28,29, 30, or even 31 days. So all of these will result in different answers.

(2) The third Saturday of the month was seventeenth.
Let's check this out:
17th of the month = Saturday. (=> 16th : Fri ; 15th : Thurs )
Move back and we have Wednesday as the 14th.
