The following information is given in the statement. we have to find if total of sales employees (denoted by x) is more than total of Management employees.
From Statement 1 we get:
0.15x = 72
x = 480
But this is not sufficient to know if x>total number of Management employees
From Statement 2 we get:
not S and not M = 252
This is still not sufficient
Combining both statements:
Still cannot answer the question as we do not know the total number of employees - or any other information which will tell us the total number of management employees.
Hence E is the answer.
