someone pls help me in improving my verbal score especially in sc.

last october i gave the gmat and scored a 530 q47 v17. before the exam i was scoring from 610 to 640 in veritas mocks in which my quant score was 50/51 and my verbal scores vary from 20 to 30. however on the test day i messed up in the quant section by giving too much time to first 10-15 question such that in the end i have to make 9 consecutive guesses (only 1 was correct) due to lack of time. that's why my quant score drops to 47. In the verbal section i was confident that the section was going good and i would score around 30 but got a 17 and cancelled my score.

after a 2 months of gap i was looking up for the online verbal courses and end up signing in to e-gmat course. after completing the course i practised og 13 and og 16.
when i first gave the veritas mock (after completing e-gmat and og's ) my score was 640 q 49 v27 and then in a month my score goes up to 680q 49 v33 . after that i gave the gmatprep tets and score a 570 q 50 v19, 630 q50 v27 and a 590 q 50 v 20.
my cr is good and i,m lagging in rc and sc. especially in sc as i know all the rules and with around 70% accuracy in og's i find it difficult in the test to apply those rules in many questions. even in some questions i"m unable to find the question type.
i'm planning to give the test before 15 may as i have to submit my applications by may end.
so can someone help me over this as i'm aiming a 650.
as i'm confident that i will score 49/50 in quant so i have to a score a 30 in verbal.
in the gmatprep i'm answering 6-8 questions correctly out of 17 in sc and i think that's the reason why i'm not able to score in verbal.
as i'm a non native can someone pls help me ,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ron's verbal videos. You're welcome! But in all honesty, if you've gone over all the E-gmat course content already then you should go over Ron's verbal videos especially those focusing on RC and SC. RC is nothing something you can pick up quickly. I think it depends on how well you can read and that takes time to develop. I think you could improve CR and SC in 2-3 weeks and get V30.

Good luck! Also, review your OG mistakes and re-attempt the questions that you got wrong.

If you are stuck at a point, then try to drill down deep on each problem type:

SC: The questions test various concepts such as S-V agreement, modifiers, parallelism etc. Find out what troubles you.
CR: There might be certain types of questions that are troubling you. May be Assumption, may be conclusion, inference etc.
You need to find that out and then practice them
RC: This again can be drilled down into different types of questions and also different topics. See what questions and topics trouble you the most and then practice accordingly.
Quants: Again try to break the questions in topics such as Algebra, Number system (very important), Geometry, PnC etc.

As an addition, start preparing an error log and keep a note of all the mistakes you made and the lessons you learnt from the problems. This will ensure you do not make the same mistake again. 
 
Here is a road map for SC questions:
1. Find out the subject and the verb
2. See that the S&V agree in number
3. Look out for the modifiers
4. Look out for parallelism
5. Look out for usage of certain words - such as vs like, few vs less etc.

hi,
i gave the test on 19th of this month and scored 590 (q47 v 25) with 8 in ir and 4.5 in awa. i have ordered my esr and will be giving the exam again in july. As i have already familiar with the concepts of the cr and sc question so how should i prepare now.
i think in sc i"m not applying the concepts and poe correctly. Usually when i practice sc questions i try to use the IMPACTS (illogical meaning Modifiers Pronouns Agreement Comparisons Tense and Sentence construction and parallelism) to eliminate the wrong choices.

And in quant section while scoring 50/51 in veritas, gmatprep, gmatclub tests and manhattan still scored only 47 in the real test.
i finished my quant section before the allotted time and throughout the quant section i thought that the difficulty level of the question was moderate. so any suggestions to push my score upto 50 in the real test will be appreciated.

now i will be applying in the 1 round for the masters of management course and aiming for the score 0f 680+. so can anyone give me some MUCH NEEDED useful tips or some study plan or technique or anything.
