Goal: Early-stage Venture Capital for a few years to work with companies and help them solve problems of scale. FinTech entrepreneurship in the long term. (Already have a sense of what I want to build.)
Applying to: Sloan, Haas, Ross, YSOM, Anderson, Stern (Schools with Entrepreneurship + Finance focus)
Note: I’m aware that undergrad and demographic are my main challenges. Having just sold my start-up, I have a fairly narrow window in which to apply to B-Schools. I don't think I can reapply next year, thus I'm a bit paranoid about my target schools. Do I have a decent shot at being considered? Should I aim lower? Can I afford to aim higher and add another T-10 school such as Tuck?
I've been wrestling with the idea of swapping out NYU for Emory or Georgetown as a safer "safe" school.
Appreciate the help!
