Hi Everybody.
I have been lucky enough to get admits from HEC, ISB, Oxford and Cornell 1 Year. (Congratulations... reading your thoughts..I believe ISB seems best choice here...see your thoughts highlighted and my cited logic that you can ponder over )
My post MBA goals are to move into
strategy consulting or internal strategy/general management roles (Demographic choice becomes more relevant here.....what industrial sector and regional expertise you want... Asian region and its unconventional industrialization growth is up thing now and will remain so..... ). My geographical preference is to work overseas (gain exposure in developed markets) for a few (3-4) years,
pay off my loans(Best said as an Indian ..you 'll get best loan- options from Indian bank) and
come back to India. (Coming back from singapore, dubai makes more sense they have llel gains.... after giving 4 yrs to europe or US..you'll actually have to step back in career for returning )
My background is 4 years of Insurance Broking and Risk consulting work experience in India with a huge MNC. (Build on it ...This will give you a good drift in Asian market....but abroad may not have that much significance in job-push....do your research)
I am however now daunted by the huge amount of debt that seems at head since I didnt get any scholarships. Considering that and my long term goals,
somehow ISB seems to make more sense. Please help with your thoughts. I need to make the decision by 18th, as the first deposit for Cornell is on 18th
