Seems like a bit of a no brainer! I would definitely go Ross in your position.

I think you are leaning towards right decision, which is Ross ;)
And you need some confidence booster for that.
I believe that if you feel that decision is perfectly fits your goals and ambitions - you must take that decision. Life after MBA is all about taking decisions and assuming responsibility for them.
Good luck! :-D

btw I am waitlisted at Ross and admitted to Anderson.

My vote is for Ross. They're honestly peer schools and the money goes a long way. Ross places pretty well in tech and also evenly across the entire US. Haas primarily places most of their graduates on the West coast. Take the money.

Disclaimer: I'm a Haas admit, admittedly may be biased

Although I don't consider Ross and Haas to be peer schools (I think Haas undeniably has the stronger program), I would take the money and go to Ross given your GF/desire to work back east.

And to be clear, Haas doesn't place most people primarily on the West Coast because they CAN'T place people in other parts of the country. It's because the SF Bay Area is a destination spot (per publications, #1 place to live for past 5-10 years, and people who KNOW they want a life in the Bay Area self-select themselves to the West Coast schools)

Furthermore, several students who came to Haas with the intention of returning back East often had a change of heart after spending 2 years in the Bay Area. Hard to blame them!
