I have a tough decision and need some advice.
UT - $
SMU- 1/2 scholarship
Rice - None
Vanderbilt - $
I do not need the scholarship to be the deciding factor, as I am able to make it work without. I am looking for the best option for career prospects afterwards. I have narrowed down to the above, because I would like a close-knit learning community and faculty interaction. I hope to go into financial services immediately upon graduation and would like to start my own company shortly thereafter. After school, I would like to stay in the South/Midwest.

I would rank these in the following order:
1. UT
2. Vanderbilt
3. Rice
4. SMU
UT is the highest perennially ranked school out of these and is probably the best name out of these if you want to stay in the south.I honestly think it is a pretty easy choice.

From education point of view, Think in only UT and Vanderbilt. Then go deeply in to the following in both schools:
1- Where do you want to work after graduation?
2- Delve into the academic elective courses, do they serve what you want?
3- Go to the career reports, what is the percentage of students hired in your desired field? Which can serve you better on long term.
